NUR KOÇAK
1941 was born in Istanbul on December 14th.
1948-58 had elementary and secondary school education till the end of 10th grade at TED Ankara College, Ankara, Turkey.
1958-60 studied 11th and 12th grades at Western High School (now Western-Ellington School of the Arts), Washington DC, USA and graduated from that establishment.
1960-64 studied art at State Academy of Fine Arts (now Architect Sinan University) Painting Department, Istanbul, Turkey.
1964-67 worked as technical designer in Lusanne, Switzerland.
1967-68 continuing her studies for another year, graduated from Istanbul’s State Academy of Fine Arts Painting Department with MA degree.
1970-74 did further studies on art at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France, on a scholarship from the Turkish State.
1975-81 worked as instructor at Istanbul’s State Academy of Fine Arts Painting Department.
2000-01 worked as instructor at Istanbul’s Marmara University Education Faculty.
Lives and works in Istanbul.
